We want to bring the world’s most promising treatment, intestinal flora transplantation (FMT), to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
We want children with ASD to have a more liveable, secure everyday life!
With this in mind, our study group has launched an initiative to ask parents to cooperate in various tests when patients diagnosed with “autism spectrum disorder” undergo transplants.
At the 7th Annual Conference held on September 18, the keynote lecture by Dr. Kenji Tsuchiya of Hamamatsu University School of Medicine was very well received. In addition, ASD case reports and panel discussions were held to present the efforts of our study group. (Please see the related video at the bottom of this page.)
Our guest will be Ms. Naomi Hatanaka, President of Challenged LIFE, a general incorporated association.
And what’s more, this time we have a special guest, Dr. Masahiko Shirotani, Director of Luke’s Ashiya Clinic! He will appear around 14:00-14:15!
Don’t miss the loose talk between Dr. Shirotani, who actually performed the transplant, and Ms. Hatanaka, the mother of the patient.
